Dan and Kevin, longtime friends, adjust to their evolving surroundings in the community of Flatbush, Brooklyn. A raw comedy of city life. Made on zero-budget, the first installment of Flatbush has received critical acclaim, becoming Oscar-qualified after winning Grand Jury Awards in its film festival run. Critics have called it "funny, smart, inventive and constantly surprising" and "street-level filmmaking at its finest." This short was the first of three distinct fifteen-minute independent shorts that were adapted to the critically-acclaimed Showtime series, Flatbush Misdemeanors.
